Fluorescence LiDAR techniques & Machine Learning

Open labs, NTUA, March 2026

The target group of the event was secondary education students. Members of the LRSU laboratory explained the lidar concept and its applications to the audience, among which, the goals of the F-LIDAR-M campaign were shared.

Individuals involved:

  • E. Giagka: Spectrograph and optical components (prisms, fibres, lenses, filters, polarisers, lasers) showcase/workshop.
  • A. Zagklis: Lidar setup, coupled with a spectrometer, explanation and overview of applications and bioaerosol measurement, classification & motivation behind our efforts.
